I don’t think the call was right, 2 min for boarding or roughing, though there was injury, they gotta change that rule that it has to be 5 + an ejection. @jasmmmm Uh, he’s not that dirty. If you take a look at his controversial hits, most of them demand the benefit of the doubt. And there’s only like three or four hits that have been controversial. I hardly call that “dirty.” Marty McSorley was dirty.

Well Campbell gets the last laugh. Ovechkin is a dirty asshole and I was thrilled to see his team GONE in the 1st Round!!!! Meanwhile, Campbell comes back healthy and wins the Stanley Cup. Can’t get any better than that!!

Yea this looks incredibly dirty, but you have to remember how ovechkin plays. he’s one of the most aggressive players in the NHL, its not like he walks away with a smirk on his face or anything like sean avery would do. on lots of the hits hes gotten suspended or penalties for that have resulted in injury, he stays around to make sure the dudes ok. hes just one fucking aggressive player, and if campbell’s leg doesnt buckle, there goes just a normal check into the boards
