As mentioned in a previous post, Topps took a preemptive step in creating cards for the pre-collegiate stars who played in the 2011 Under Armour All-American football game on Jan. 5. The manufacturer distributed these collectibles to the first 5,000 attendees — unsigned, three per person — at the event in St. Petersbug, Fla.
Although all 92 Under Armour All-American cards were signed by each featured player, Topps is saving those signatures for a drafty day. Fortunately though, the future-newcomer-commemorating card maker was kind enough to provide us with images of all 92 autographs.
The Red Team won the game 24-22 in thrilling fashion, so let’s start with those victorious faces:
