UPPER DECK ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH TGL PRESENTED BY SOFI AHEAD OF SECOND SEASON
Carlsbad, Calif. and Orlando, Fla. (December 8, 2025) – Upper Deck, the worldwide leader in sports and entertainment collectibles, today announced a new license agreement with TGL, the primetime team golf league. The collaboration will introduce the league’s first trading cards, providing fans even more ways to enjoy the action and connect with their favorite golfers through Upper Deck collectibles. As part of the agreement, Upper Deck will be the exclusive licensed producer of trading cards (digital and physical), for the league, including a debut e-Pack release available now commemorating TGL’s inaugural season and its standout players.

TGL’s second season returns on Sunday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m., ET on ABC, the league’s broadcast network debut, and fans can relive all the top moments with the league’s first trading cards that take a look back at the inaugural TGL season, available now on e-Pack exclusively. The checklist includes Tiger Woods and Max Homa (Jupiter Links Golf Club), Hideki Matsuyama (Boston Common Golf), Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala (Los Angeles Golf Club), Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover (Atlanta Drive GC), Wyndham Clark (The Bay Golf Club), and TGL’s in-venue emcee Roger Steele. Fans also have the opportunity to collect moment-based inserts from the 2025 season, playoffs, and Finals, as well as the chance to find autographed cards.

Rush of Ikorr Merciless Battlegrounds – Apollo, Prophet of Harmony Deck Recipe
Apollo, Prophet of Harmony is an Intuition Prophecy deck. This deck in particular focuses on top deck manipulation by utilizing the Foresee mechanic with a low to mid-range curve. Apollo’s Avatar ability allows players to Foresee 2, then they may scrap 1. If they do, draw a card. Apollo’s RUSH ability has mass impact especially in multi-player formats, allowing any number of allied players to search their deck for a card and put it on top of their deck. Pairing this with the right allies in a 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3 format can completely change the trajectory of the game to your favor!

Optimize Apollo’s Avatar Power with Pythia, Eye of Delphi as your win con. On ACTION – Choose a card name, then scrap 1. If the scrapped card has the chosen name, secure 1 Ikorr. A key component of this deck is optimizing Pythia’s abilities while keeping her in play as long as possible.

Utilize cards with “Foresee” like Oracular Visions and Delphi Heart of the Earth to raise topdecking and instantly secure Ikorr. Use Homer, Sovereign Scribe to get Pythia out for cheaper while allowing you to Forsee the top 3 cards of your deck.

Exploit Pythia’s card ability, “Spells you cast cost 1 less to cast” with spells like Thunderbolt, Essence of the Dolphin, Essence of the Crow, and Essence of the Wolf. For mass damage and game control include the Plague of Arrows spell which reads, “Deal 1 damage to each opposing champion. Stun each Human dealt damage this way.” This will prevent the opposing team from securing any stored Ikorr allowing you to secure Ikorr through Pythia’s card effect while they are immobilized.

Rush of Ikorr Merciless Battlegrounds – Poseidon, Titanic Trident Deck Recipe
Poseidon Titanic Trident is a Curiosity Devotion Avatar. This deck is a Pyramid Control Deck focused on keeping your opponent’s board locked down. This deck is a slow burn with an alternate win condition using the Great Pyramid if your opponents answer your Champions. We have loaded this deck with removal and control cards with a mid to high curve. Poseidon’s RUSH ability reads “Put all champions with an attack of 3 or less on the bottom of their owner’s deck”. To combat this card effect Poseidon’s Avatar ability allows you to draw the bottom card of your deck.

Use cards like Nereid and Wepwawet Opener of the Ways to activate Poseidon’s Avatar Power for no cost. Nereid’s card effect says, “As long as this champion shares a loyalty with an avatar you control, that avatar’s power costs 2 less to activate”. Poseidon plays well with others or at least in this deck. These cards are game changers in multi-player 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3 formats to make your allies’ Avatar Powers cost 2 less influence to active. Build a team of powerful allies and these card effects can mean lights out for your opponents!

These cards plus Accomplished Architect will help you get to your Great Pyramid. The Great Pyramid reads “When a champion you control leaves the battlefield, store all Ikorr held by that champion on this location. ACTION – Secure 1 Ikorr from this location”. Getting this Location out in the early game will apply pressure to your opponents as you start securing Ikorr from your alternate win condition on a Location that is tricky to destroy.

Pester your opponents by disrupting their strategy with cards like Medjay. Medjay reads “SUMMON – Stun target champion and remove up to 2 Ikorr from it”. Siren and Master Brewer are other stun effect cards we’ve included that will lock down your opponents’ board allowing you to control the pace of the game.

Scylla Serpent of Messina and Charybdis Whirlpool Terror are a fun addition to this deck ensuring your opponents become stuck between a rock and a hard place. These powerhouse Fabled Champions allow you to gain additional attacks when they are controlled together. Scylla reads “RAID – Strike target opposing champion. If you control a champion named “Charybdis”, strike any number of target opposing champions instead”.
