HOCKEY STARS MEET SUPERMAN IN ‘FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE’ UPPER DECK DC X NHL® CROSSOVER
Carlsbad, CA (January 30, 2026) – Upper Deck, the worldwide leader in sports and entertainment collectibles, is imagining hockey stars in the world of DC Studios’ blockbuster “Superman” as part of the third DC x National Hockey League (NHL®) Crossover trading card set. As a trading card licensee of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the NHL, and the NHLPA, this set continues Upper Deck’s commitment to creating unique collecting experiences that bridge the sports and entertainment worlds.
Inspired by the Fortress of Solitude as seen in “Superman,” this trading card set highlights game action imagery of six global NHL superstars in Superman’s secret sanctuary. Featuring the Fortress’ iridescent sheen and textured appearance, the set features images of Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, Leon Draisaitl, Filip Forsberg, Auston Matthews, and David Pastrnak. Collectors who complete the full six-card set will receive an exclusive Connor McDavid achievement card.
